McGill's Principal and Vice-Chancellor, Suzanne Fortier, recently announced the 2022 Principal's Prize winners. The DAIR team is proud to share that Stephanie Zito, a DAIR team member and PhD candidate in Counselling Psychology, was announced as this year's winner of the Principal’s Prize for Public Engagement through Media for her @selfcarespotlight digital mental health initiative. Self-Care Spotlight is an Instagram-based community that has amassed over 400,000 followers since its creation at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Through this platform, Stephanie has used her digital and creative expertise to share an array of evidence-based strategies and psycho-education related to mental health and healthy coping.
